Where have I been

my sincerest apologies for not posting in so long, no real excuse other than the obvious. I am pretty much stuck to my bed and have lost an incredible amount of weight since this whole thing started. I have to have a full time home health aide as well as a family member with me at all time. Sometimes I resent the invasion of my privacy but mostly I treasure the time with my family, talking about old times and learning about my family. I had a fun time this morning with my mom, talking about the crazy hair styles of the 40s and her dating. Luis came over today as well, had a great time with him, he is growing up so fast, I am so proud of him!
Well, that is it for now, but I promise I will post more often!

Hi Barb, Now that you have family members around you... good time to either get out home movies, or watch the old classics together with some popcorn. An Affair to Remember, Sleepless in Seattle, Breakfast at Tiffanys, and one of my favorites The Way we Were.. and you have to throw some Hitchcock movies in there for good measure! I'm sorry I'm not there to hang out with you! Keep your blogs coming. I love reading them. Love ya, Gina R.

Barb,

I am glad to hear you are having family time; that's so important. I continue to pray for you and think about you each and every day. I hope Scout and Heidi aren't too noisy for you; I tell them to keep it down, but you know how dogs are!

Hi Barb, I am the RN Betsy who sat next to you and Luis last Christmas
on you flight to Fort Lauderdale for your cruise. I never got to tell you how special you made my Christmas just by sharing with me your honesty and courage and your spirituality. Luis told me the story about putting his fear into a balloon and releasing it. I have something I want to send you but you have not posted for so long I wonder if you have completed your journey and are at peace with God. Please have someone in your family contact me betsycavnar@g-mail.com I would still like to send something to Luis. Much love, Betsy
